RobPath is a simple off-line path planning tool for robotized direct manufacturing. Based on conventional processing strategies, this tool automatically generates the robot tool path from the 3D part model, assuming constant parameters during the process.

Software shared in OpenLMD is intended for research, even so, it is being tested on an industrial facility.

Getting Started

Besides installing ROS and cloning OpenLMD projects on your computer, you must install Mayavi2 in your Ubuntu linux.

  $ sudo apt-get install mayavi2
  $ rosrun robpath_planning robpath.py
